Mobile Phones

 

The Drivers council would like to advise all drivers on East Midlands Trains with regards to mobile phone use whilst driving or in charge of a train.

  • Strictly adhere to both Rule book and Professional Driving Policy instructions.
  • If a request is made by anyone for you to use your personal mobile or company issued mobile whilst you are in charge of a train politely refuse quoting company policy.

And remember the safety of the train and your career is worth more to you and your family than the companys request to use your mobile and break both the rule book and company policy when it suites them.
